Creation:

We are believers in a young earth, because, the Bible presents a 7 day creation week in Genesis. Creation could have started 6000 years ago. We do not exactly know. We do know God was there. We also know God called everything good and created a fantastic garden. Adam and Eve were created, within the week, on the sixth day. For a while life was good, and there were all kinds of good things: plants, animals, the garden, and walks with God. Man sinned and had to leave the garden.

Flood:

We believe, as the Bible states, more sin and violence caused a great flood. Jesus spoke of this flood in the New Testament: Mathew 24:39.

Fossils:

We believe this flood produced many fossils, world wide.

Bible:

Today, one can pick up a fossil in one hand and the Bible in the other. Wisdom gleamed from the Bible can shed light on the fossil’s origin. The Bible, as well as the fossil, proclaim that the authority of judgment rests with God. The Bible, God’s written word, presents a timetable of a few thousand years between the flood and today.

Why:

We believe it is important to believe in recent creation by God. That He is the author of life. He is wise and powerful. Therefore, after creation, it would be easy for Him to also author an accurate Bible to share who He was, is, and is to come.
